Patterns

This building in the flower district caught my eye while walking on the street:

the graphics and colors of the poster used as window covering for two floors looks remarkably old — 1950s or 60s — and yet the lower central image touts “touchscreen compatible gloves.” captivating. the arrange of the posters over the windows and half-windows expresses a diligence to pattern and repetition that i found simultaneously soothing and a tech distressing.
